September

It's a new month and things are changing, the days are getting shorter darkness is upon us at around 8pm now, I wonder what winter will bring us after the horrible summer we have had, only time will tell i suppose.

As mentioned last month (summer 2007) I (Tracy) started a new job, my first one for 10 yrs or so, probably near 11 years by now, I'm working in catering again in the staff canteen at our local supermarket Asda, Asda is only a 5 minute walk from our home so at least there are no travelling expenses....(not unless i get a puncture on my bicycle if i use that when it's raining LOL) I work mostly evenings and a full day through the week so that means that myself and Steve will pass in the doorway as he comes home I'm off out.

Here is a photo of me in my uniform.....i look a twit don't I?.....your only allowed to laugh once  hahahaha

Ok so now that you have all stopped laughing at the photo I'll just say that i really enjoyed my first week in my new job although was i chucked in at the deep end so to speak by way of not having a clue of what i should be doing, and having to work full days (7 til 3pm) for my first week because 2 members of the canteen staff had holidays booked, i did however  found my way around and was a wiz by Friday. I work alone catering for around 20/25 staff  although on an evening it's more like 8 maybe less but on an evening i do have the vending machines to fill for the night shift workers. It's now Monday 10th and it's my day off hence the updating of the diary and hopefully other pages you might look at, I'm back at work tomorrow until Friday then i have Saturday off. Oh and i lost another half stone last week yippie.

For the rest of this month  it was busy working for the pair of us and the weekends spent getting the garden ready for winter. By the end of the month the weather started to feel very cold indeed.
