September, October & November
Okay so it's a 3 in 1 diary this time, so
here goes.................
September was quiet Trace spent most of the
time sorting out the animals while Steve was at work and bringing home wood
for our winter fuel of which all got cut up and is now (November) in use. We
got the Jeep back on the 30th September but alas still not fixed.
October 1st we stopped smoking (it's now 61
days without it's also the longest we have lasted) 5th Tracy started to make
the Christmas cakes, jam, pies and soups (getting the freezer stocked up for
winter). The hens have stopped laying, they have all started to moult but we
do still get a duck egg everyday. The last week in October saw the worst so
far of the winter weather and the garaged flooded a wee bit there was also
gales for the rest of the month which carried on until November.
26th October we bought an 1981 Series3 LPG
converted Land Rover......here it is

Birthday wishes went out to Tracy's auntie
Mave for the 31st October also Birthday boy Steve on the 3rd November.
It was a good start to November with snow
showers and gales which have been with us for most of the month (gales) with
some very cold and frosty days (looks like a bad winter then). The rest of
November was spent chopping tree trunks up that Steve had got from a guy at
work.....there's one thing if we get snowed in and have power cuts at least
we'll have the fire to keep us warm. Tracy also fixed the henhuts on the
good days and I have also been decorating the kitchen when my hands let me
that is.
Right folks that's it, not a lot gone on but
at least i got this up to date. Just one last thing before i get
off.......keep a look out for the step by step recipe pages which are in the
making.
See you all in December
