June 2006

You will have noticed I'm now running a month behind this wasn't done on purpose it's just happened so this is how it will stay.

Sad month 3rd June 2000 Tracy's mother passed away after a short illness (thinking of you always mom...miss you) ;-((

This month has been quite busy again, as in getting the bedding plants in place also the doing the dreaded weeding, doing my flower tubs. We also made a greenhouse out of plastic sheeting that Steve brought home from work, that now has tomatoes and courgette in it.

On the 3rd we went to the Cornhill highland games.

The weather in June was nice until the 24th then it rained also windy very windy.

Tracy went for a bicycle ride to Longside (12 mile round trip) and did so for 7 days then bought another bike and went to Mintlaw twice (18 mile round trip) and not an ounce was lost in weight.

9th June was the day we put 12 duck eggs in the incubator, 7 white ones which are vodka and Bacardi's (the Khaki x and the khaki) also 5 of Orange's (the Orpington) of which we took out on the 2nd week due to them not been fertile, so we are left with 7 white eggs which are due to hatch on the 7/8th July.

23rd we took fudge to the vet to get neutered and will now be getting another bunnie in September ...a playmate for fudge ...he'll be happy then (hahaha).

24th and the trouble with the jeep starts AGAIN ...what a day that was, it all started when Steve's boss rang and told him that he should be working so rushing round getting ready then he goes to the car only to find that the stupid thing wouldn't start up in LPG so switched to petrol by the time he got to the end of the lane the jeep had stopped dead sooo Steve took the battery off to reset the thing and off he went LATE to work, in the afternoon we went up to Fraserburgh to Tesco, did the shopping and was about to turn into the pet shop car park just around the corner from Tesco when the damn exhaust fell off the car in the middle of the blooming road so he tied that back up and off we set back home, by the time we got here the jeep sounded worse than a souped up car that you hear going around 10 times worse, Monday it was in the garage to get fixed and now minus £120 in the bank.....hint hint it's time to get shut, we are looking around to see what we want.

The rest of the month was spent chopping wood up ready for the winter months ...errr that'll be now then.

eggs laid this month 76 duck and 160 hen

See you all in July (visitors coming on the 13th)
