January, Feb, March 2008
I'll start by saying sorry for taking so long to update our diary but
with ill health and now working I just couldn't find time to get the site
updated but here we are now 3 month in to the new year and I'm just getting
around to updating.
The year started the way it means to carry on I think.....wet and windy
I spent most of January in Pain, as a result I just couldn't sleep at all
so by the time February came I was knackered so off to the doc's it was for
me who just told me it was all the nerve endings getting themselves sorted
out it's just part of the healing process so they said.
3rd Jan we got yet another 2nd hand car so at least we have wheels again.
I've taken up a new hobbie to go with all my others......card making and
loving every minute of it, I go to a card making class for beginners on a
Thursday twice a month. As a result of this new hobbie of mine I have now
taken over the spare room for all my goodies, even Steve has been booted out
so his pc is now in the living room.
The first snow of the winter arrived on the night of the 1st of Feb but
didn't last long.
13th Feb we got shut of the old shed then one of the guys who took the
shed bought the Jeep. We got a bath and basin off freecycle from a lady in
Banff so that is now in the garage waiting to get fitted in my bathroom.
By the middle of Feb I had started to feel slightly better and was doing
more around the house so my last line of the GP was a return to work for the
1st March......(bad idea), my first week back and by the end of the week I
was hurting really bad I just about managed to get in 3 hours a day the
worst bit was I had 4 days on the trot to do which I think is what did it
for me, on the 2nd week i asked for an extra day off of which I was glad for
too cos I spent the day on the sofa. I have now lost my job in the kitchen
due to them shutting my evening shift off while i was on the sick, but i'm
still at Asda I'm a checkout babe now of which i find a lot easier just
because i'm stood in one place I'm also getting use to the tills now too.
That's it for now ...snow forecast for the weekend.
